Surface water pump stations are commonly used in basements and property extensions where there is a requirement to pump ground or surface water to the drainage system and it is not possible to achieve a gravity flow. Surface water is often referred to as "clear or clean water" and can include groundwater and rainwater.
Basic pump stations are single pump whilst for more reassurance twin pump stations and control panels are also available.
