MEDO Air Pumps are manufactured by Nitto Kohki and are used within some of the leading sewage treatment plants in the UK to provide aeration which assists in the biological breakdown of the sewage.

Unlike some of the other blowers on the market the "MEDO" doesn't rely on a diaphragm but has a unique Linear Shuttle based design. Removing the diaphragm increases the life of the blower as in the MEDO it is replaced with a quality machined & high tolerance, Teflon coated, metal linear shuttle (piston). The MEDO is also fitted with a Thermal Switch which stops the blower until the pump is cool enough to restart. This thermal switch ultimately protects the life of the blower.

If maintained correctly the MEDO blower should last up to double the lifetime of any diaphragm unit.

All Nitto Kohki MEDO Air Blowers are supplied with a 2-year warranty as long as the air filter is changed at least once every 12 months.
