Heating oil filters are an important part of any oil installation. Filters are often fitted to the pipework by either the oil tank or the appliance and remove sludge and debris from the fuel and therefore prevent costly breakdowns. Oil filters hould have their elements cleaned or replaced (as appropriate) anually. This is usually done as part of a boiler service. Filters with clear bowls allow you to inspect the condition of the filter element and see if any water is present in the fuel without taking the filter apart. The water trap filter has a valve which allows water to be drained from the filter.
All connections are BSP Female and compression fittings to fit most of the filters can be found in our compression fitting section.
