Description
This Enduramaxx AB Air Gap, CAT 5 or Break Tank is manufactured from a WRAS-approved black polymer as standard, this makes the tank suitable for both potable and non-potable water installations. Many water companies insist that water storage tanks connected to the mains water supply have an air gap to protect the mains from contaminated water backflow. The Air Gap prevents the tank inlet from becoming submerged and stops water from within the tank from contaminating the mains water supply.
This arrangement of fittings provides compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales and the technically identical Scottish Water Byelaws 2004.
We also supply an extensive range of one and two-piece GRP Insulated CAT5 Water storage tanks.

Inlet Valves:
All inlet valves are WRAS approved and are of the drop arm type to fit inside the air gap weir. All valves include a ballcock and float and are supplied loose.
Tank Outlet Options:
No outlet, 1", 1.5" or 2" BSP Male Fittings.
Tanks ordered with any outlet other than the standard 2" are considered a special order and are non-returnable.
Outlet Valves:
All valves are WRAS approved and are Female x Female BSP Threaded Ball Valves with 1/4 Turn Handle and supplied loose.
